I infused a frame form a video portrait of mathematician Solomon Akesseh from Grinnell College, Iowa with depictions of some mathematical concepts. I designed the color image above so that, when viewed on a 16-shade E-Ink device, information is reduced, making the image appear the same as the grayscale image below it.
